It would be easy to default to whatever material palette is trending in London or Los Angeles and apply it here. We've made a point of not doing that. Terrazzo, brass, deep timber, and regional stone show up across our interior work because they hold up to this climate and because they read as specific to this place rather than imported.
That doesn't mean rejecting contemporary form — our terrazzo blends are custom-developed, not off-the-shelf, and the way we use brass leans warm and matte rather than the high-shine treatment you'll see elsewhere.
The result is interiors that feel considered rather than assembled from a global mood board, which is ultimately what clients are asking us for even when they don't have the language for it yet.
